Morning ritual

I like my mornings to be calm & the sun come up and listen to the birds sing.







Like most people, when I get stressed my body revolts.  I have colitis and it makes me miserable.   So about a week ago I decided to give my system a break.  I am eliminating gluten and have a smoothie mid-morning.  That gives me time to enjoy my coffee, do my yoga & take Rusty for a walk.

I make a little ceremony of it.  I have my favorite mug from Bridgeman Pottery.

I purchased a Nutri Ninja pro and Giada de Laurentiis cookbook.   She has several smoothie recipes, as well as many others I have enjoyed.

Then I sit and savor.  That mid morning break gives me a chance to recover and then lots of energy to spend on projects.
